It begins and ends with you.
Similar to the first words from Tale of Two Cities, "It was the best of times, it was the worst of times", all potential exists within you with every breath you take.
Your life can only be all about you. Every thought, every feeling, every emotion and every decision is yours to create with and become, as Gandhi stated, "the change you wish to see in the world".
Moment to moment, you paint the canvas of your experience. Whether you are quietly sitting at home contemplating what to cook for this evening's supper or sitting on a plane flying to a new and uncharted life, thousands of miles away from where you grew up, the moment is essentially.... the same.
Although the time on the plane appears, at first glance, to be much more exiting and filled with new possibilities, be aware that all that is new today will, in short order, become routine. The reason for this is simple. Even when you completely change all outward elements in your life, the one constant is yourself.
Within a few weeks, a new location, a new job or a new relationship will begin to show patterns of familiarity. This is because your outward environment is like a mirror reflecting back to you what you are projecting to the outside world.
Self Love, self awareness and kindness and compassion towards yourself are all that is needed to transform both your inner dialogue and your outward manifestations.
If you look for answers and guidance out in the world created by others, you will never fully embody the beauty and unique energy that is only you.
As you stand on the bridge between yourself and others, be the Light by profoundly living your life in gratitude for all that is and can be.
